Blockchain-based platform Twala has secured a spot in F6S’s article, “10 Top SaaS Companies and Startups in the Philippines for September 2024.” Twala stands out for its innovative approach to secured digital signing and decentralized identity management, positioning it as a key player in the SaaS market.

Twala, an innovative e-signature platform, was recently featured in Sprouts' article “On the Rise: A Glimpse of Micro SaaS Companies in the Philippines.” The feature highlights the top 10 startups in the IMPACT ’23 accelerator program, with Twala gaining attention for its blockchain-powered solution.

In 2022, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) introduced new rules that allow the use of electronic signatures (e-signatures) for opening bank deposit accounts. This move is part of the BSP’s effort to modernize banking in the Philippines and support the country’s shift toward digital financial services.

Twala, a DOST-backed Filipino tech startup specializing in blockchain-based digital solutions, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Development Company (NDC) as knowledge partners to advance digital innovation and boost economic growth in the Philippines.
